PHPList is a very powerful open-source mailing list manager.

Wordpress is a fantastic open-source blogging engine.

WP-PHPList  is a Wordpress plugin which brings both packages together, to make something even better. It allows a blogger to integrate PHPList mailing list into his blog - offering his readers, for example, a weekly newsletter, or a daily summary of new posts.

There are two versions available in the downloads section. WP-PHPList 2.9.4 is very specific to PHPList 2.9.4 and Wordpress 1.x, and WP-PHPList 2.10.4 (which is still in beta) is rewritten for PHPList 2.10.4
